The Vatican

I should of put these pics up way before since this was at the beginning of my trip but all these pictures are  of my tour of the Vatican. I left that place speechless and i still don't have words to describe how much wealth are in those city walls. It's almost kind of scary how much power is within the Vatican. Never the less the place was incredible and I can wait to return and see it all over again.
Original gates of the city

Thousands and Thousands of Marble sculptures.

This hallway was lined with at least 20 hand painted maps of Italy.

This ceiling mural was done my Raphael and it symbolizes the cross triumphing over pagan idols.

St. Peters Basilica. Notice how small everyone is and how high the ceilings are!

Halloween at the Vatican?? lol

Trive Fountain which isn't at the Vatican but we saw it the same day.

Turkey

Turkey was absolutely spectacular! The country was beautiful, the people were extremely friendly and the coffee was to die for! We were able to visit the ancient city of Ephesus where Paul spent a lot of his time and it shocked me how well they preserved and how large it was. It really brings to life what you read in the bible once you see it in person. Besides Ephesus we were able to go to a carpet shop which had thousands and thousands of the most intricate, beautiful, handmade rugs that I have ever seen. But before we went to the carpet shop we had a traditional bible time lunch, well thats at least what the tour said it was. But the food was delicious none the less. Turkey was defiantly one of my favorite places that I was able to visit and I can't wait to return!

I know this cup looks normal but i zoomed in to much with the camera so it looks larger then it was. The coffee there is strong that they sever them in small expresso cups.

Traditional biblical lunch

Rugs galore!

The library in Ephesus

Paul preached in this theater.

More Turkish Coffee! =D
Thought this sleeve on the coffee cup was pretty fun.

Jerusalem and Bethlehem

I am currently far to exhausted from jet lag to write anything more about Israel right now but these pictures are of Jerusalem and Bethlehem
I almost converted when I found out they gave out free hats lol

Bazaar in Jerusalem

In this church is supposedly where Jesus was crucified

If you can't find a Hard Rock this will do lol

To go to Bethlehem you have to enter in to Palestine. Palestine is completely walled in from the rest of the Israel even though it is a part of Israel.
These walls were built many years ago to stop gun fire towards the highway from Palestine. Of course this is not a problem any more since they take tour buses on this road now.
