I'm writing from the car as we are leaving Rome heading to the port of Rome to get on our cruise ship. Rome has been pretty spectacular, the people are friendly and the history of the city is overwhelming. Learned so many things, like Rome is definitely the scooter capital of the world, Italians drive like maniacs and especially that Italians listen to a ton of American music.
I have only ran into one problem while being in Italy.... In a country so proud of their sports cars I have yet to see one ferrari!!! You would think coming back to the birth place of Ferraris you would see them all over but nope, not yet. Hopefully I'll see one before we get on the cruise ship tonight.
Didn't put pictures up yesterday cause I was super exhausted from waking all day long through the Vatican. That place was massive. It just kept going and going and going. It's amazing that once you enter the Vatican your in a whole new country.
I'll hopefully put up pictures tonight of yesterday wifi permitting :-)
Maybe the Ferrari's are only for export?
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the Vatican....HUGE!!! I still remember the overwhelming impression I was left with....if there are so many starving people in the world why does the Vatican hoard so much wealth?????
Enjoy your cruise Jacob and THANK YOU for the blog and cool pix!!!
